Student Engagement and Well-Being is thrilled to announce that LEAD program director Stacey Doremus was awarded a 2025-2026 Transformative Teaching & Learning Innovation Incubator grant for her class, PUBP 4140, Foundations of Leadership, in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, School of Public Policy.
The 35 students (all majors and years) who choose to enroll in PUBP 4140 each semester seek to become more effective, inclusive, just, equitable, sustainable, and global leaders. With the Transformative Teaching & Learning Innovation Incubator (TTLII) grant, Doremus plans to expand upon the work she did with the Undergraduate Sustainability Education Project and integrate Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) at a deeper level. The course redesign will bring community partners as co-collaborators into a current Real-World Case Study that establishes and advances mutually beneficial partnership goals, makes a meaningful impact within Georgia Tech and the Atlanta community, and immerses our students into diverse ways of exercising leadership.
