Christopher has degrees in both Electronic Engineering Technology and in Telecommunications. He has over 25 years’ experience in a higher education and was instrumental in the transition of Georgia Tech's Distance Learning program from a taped based program, to a file based virtual program in which all elements are digital and distributed online. An avid music lover and fan of the creative arts, many of Christopher's hobbies mirror his professional life, additional Christopher believes in community service and volunteering
What inspired you to become a Leadership Fellow?:
Christopher has chosen to become a Leadership Coach out of a desire to give back to Tech community. To become a resource for students to lean into and to assist helping students find solutions on their own and share life experiences.

Kristen Wingate began working in higher education at Benedict College while completing her graduate degree at Full Sail University. After working at Benedict College for 4 years, Kristen made her way to Atlanta after accepting an offer to become an Academic Coordinator for the Georgia Tech Athletics Association. She currently provides support to several student-athletes and teams within the department. She is a native of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Benedict College and Master’s Degree from Full Sail University in the areas of Communication and Sports Management. Kristen finds it rewarding to assist others and watch them grow to their highest potential. She understands that having a solid support structure is the foundation for helping others to achieve their goals. Kristen is excited about being a Leadership Fellow and see it as an opportunity to help make a positive impact in the lives of students here at Georgia Tech.
