If you were to ask Yvette’s loved ones what they remember most about her as a child, they would say her inquisitive nature. Yvette believes she was destined to be a learning and development professional and she is passionate about fostering the development and growth of others. Over the last seven years, she has worked in the public and private sector, focusing on designing and facilitating learning experiences that equip adult learners with the tools and resources necessary to achieve their defined professional and personal success. Yvette also leverages her B.A. from Clark Atlanta University and her M.S. in Human Resource Development from Florida International University to enhance her effectiveness in the classroom.
What inspired you to become a Leadership Fellow?:
As a leadership fellow, Yvette plans to embody her most important and permanently ongoing belief, best articulated in John Bunyan's affirmation, that “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
